Connect with entrepreneurs, practitioners, researchers and changemakers from North and South, exchange questions, cases and insights. It's our private thinking floor where we continue exploring between our live workshops how organisations can grow with partnering.
It was the Darwin-inspired idea of “survival of the fittest” that shaped our marketplace into a competitive field — driving material prosperity we all benefited from. Yet increasingly, we see it is out of balance — coming at the price of eroding planetary resources, social peace, and our shared humanity.
What largely remains unseen is the erosion of “we.” The competitive logic deeply embedded in our systems shapes how we relate — reinforcing a mentality of “winning over others,” seeding mistrust and division, and weakening our ability to coexist and create together, as a human species overall.
A system built on “me versus you” and “us versus them” inevitably leads to mistrust and conflict. Today, we see the highest number of wars since World War II, rising societal polarization, an economy privileging a few over the majority, and increasing loneliness alongside a growing mental health crisis — the consequences of placing the “me” before the “we” for over a century: we unlearn the “we.”
We feel that this growing relational poverty becomes an existential challenge.
Think Tank Themes
A dialogue across the Global North and Global South
We believe in a new generation of managers, entrepreneurs, and academics committed to building partnering companies—organizations that help steward the economy toward greater care, equity, and sustainability for all of us.
We use “partnering” to mean interacting professionally on the basis of reciprocity and a shared purpose, rather than through one-sided control or a purely transactional exchange — individually, as teams, organizations or collectively. Partnering can express itself as an attitude, a value and an organizing principle: in personal encounters, virtually, or indirectly through systems, processes and structures, within organizations as much as between them.
To support this shift, we believe small and mid-sized companies (SME) have a particular role to play. Through partnering, the small can take the lead in a business world increasingly shaped by large corporations.
That's why our current focus is on empowering SMEs to partner successfully. Together, we bring interdisciplinary knowledge and hands-on practice to create a space where meaningful change can begin—across the North and the South, learning from each other.
With this lens, and guided by our Partnering Corporation Charter, we explore core themes such as:
Partnering strategies and objectives
Governance, processes, and structures
Performance measurement, rewards, and value distribution
You're warmly invited to suggest topics at any time—and are welcome to co-host or lead a session if you bring experience or expertise in a related area.
Vision
It's our vision to promote and advance standards for a partnering approach to management and organizational design — with a particular focus on empowering small and mid-sized companies, in a dialogue across North and South.
Goals
Together, we'll discuss, elaborate and develop standards for partnering management and organizational design. We'll share latest research insights, ideas, cases, and new practices, co-create practical tools, inspire whitepapers and get to know each other personally during the networking time at the end of each session.

Non-profit in Spirit
The Think Tank is not an officially registered charity — it's a self-funded initiative driven by The Value of We by Human Facts AG, carried by our own investment and by the active engagement of its members. "Non-profit" here means the Think Tank isn't run to generate revenue for us; any contribution collected goes toward keeping the infrastructure, research time, and sessions running, not toward profit.
How we work
The Think Tank works through three connected pillars:
Live Workshop Sessions: 3–4 live online workshops of 2.5 hours per year (17:00–19:30 CET), each focusing on one theme of partnering management and organizational design.
Think Tank Online Forum: our private member space, where the conversation continues between the workshops. Everyone who registers for a workshop automatically gets free access — and you're welcome to join the forum for free at any time, even without attending a workshop.
Published Outcomes: the host further develops the results of each session into practical tools, summaries and whitepapers — participants are welcome to join in.
Our sessions — past and upcoming:
23 October 2025 (pilot session): Partnering Strategies for SMEs → outcome: Partnering Strategies Toolbox
26 November 2026 - open for registration: From Silos to Synergies: Designing Partnering Structures and Processes
4 February 2027: topic to be defined
24 June 2027: topic to be defined
16 September 2027: topic to be defined
The Partnering Corporation Charter serves as the guiding framework for the Think Tank and the themes we explore.
Your Contribution Possibilities
There are two ways you can engage with us:
Contribute actively and get the outcomes for free use: Those who actively contribute live in the workshop discussions and in the collaborative work that follows receive the session results and the outcomes developed further from them for free use, as recognition of that shared effort, but not for selling them elsewhere.
Pay a Think Tank Fee for using our outcomes: For those who wish to benefit from the outcomes of our work without contributing actively, a Think Tank Fee applies, covering the cost of running and sustaining the initiative.
Your Fair Use Commitment
You're welcome to use all Think Tank outcomes — tools, whitepapers, and more — in your workshops, trainings, lectures, research, and client mandates, paid or not. In return, we simply ask that you honor the Think Tank's non-profit, mission-driven spirit by not reselling what's been produced here.
Get it for free until 26 November 2026!
Feel free to share it with anyone who might find it useful — for a more partnering world!
Modern biology, systems thinking, and even insights from quantum physics point toward interdependence as a principle of life — evolving through collaboration and a balanced cycle of give and take. If this holds true, partnering must move from the sidelines — where it is often treated as a resource to take from — to the core of how we design organizations, markets, and managerial models.
The good news: our capacity to collaborate is not lost — it has simply been in the shadow. In the face of AI, we now have the chance to rediscover our true evolutionary human gift: our capacity to sense and consciously create a “We.” Our unique ability to connect, relate, and co-create deserves to move back to center stage — in our lives, our organizations, our leadership, our Self, and our economy as a whole.
Join the Think Tank to explore and shape this shift together. A space for leaders, professionals, and researchers to rethink economic and organizational models — and to co-develop new approaches for a partnering-based, “all-of-us” economy.

Connecting Global North and South
What brings us together is a shared curiosity about what different cultures can teach us about partnering in business. By connecting perspectives from the Global North and South, we hope to discover new possibilities for designing businesses based on partnering.
